SEEDS : Socio Economic Education And Development Society
SEEDS is a not-for-profit, voluntary and registered society based at Davanagere in central Karnataka of South India. Launched in 1987, SEEDS set its objectives to pay special attention to the needs of the marginalized, vulnerable women and children, economic and social empowerment of rural communities, elimination of the practices subjugating children in commercial and sexual market and building up networks of likeminded organisations and groups.
Vision:
A society wherein all sections of people live in harmony without exploiting each other, equally enjoying all rights and basic infrastructural facilities.
Child labour elimination
working children had access to bridge school, many of them have been readmitted back to regular schools

Helping the drop out and slow learning children to improve their education levels

Children felt for all the countries should have a proper policy to nurture the children in a respectful way
Women empowerment
Legal awareness on women property rights, domestic violence, sexual harassment, un-touchability, marriage age for boys and girls
Skill training for adolescents
1st Batch Chiguru Residential School has admitted 59 working children, out of them 41 are boys and 18 are girls
Health awareness
Patients with general weakness, cold and cough, respiratory problems, arthritis's took benefit from these camps
Environment education
Membership of children studying in higher primary school and high schools. The purpose is to ensure child participation in the protection of environment
